Our 2020 Papa Romano is a wonderful tribute to Leanne’s father. In keeping this wine in the style of a Super Tuscan our aim is to acquire structure from grapes that gained fame more northwest of Toscano. The nose has immediately familiar notes of dried currant, cherry and strawberry. When passed over and around the tongue, the delight of silky tannins combined with cherry, cacao and black tea are just what you need to pair with a lovely grilled t-bone or cast iron pan fried pork chop. Salute’ to Papa!
